I Love a Man in Uniform

Ever since he was a wee boy, my little brother, Jason, has always dreamed of being in the Army. He would play "army man" in our treehouse, and one of his birthday parties was actually Army-themed, complete with camo and face paint.

So how neat is it that his dream is coming true? He'll be commissioned in May and serve our country in Afghanistan in the fall. He has been extremely successful in his career already, placing in the top five in the country during training, and he'll get more awards at the end of April for all of his hard work. I am so very proud of him.
This is Jason and his wife, Krystal, at a military formal last week. My niece, Zoey, is that little bump in Krystal's dress! She'll be here in June...we can't wait!

I know you are so proud of your little brother, ...and scared as can be all at the same time! I'm just glad that we have strong, brave men like him to do the difficult things like this. We will keep him and his family in our prayers =).
