We spent the Fourth of July in Chattanooga - first at my parent's house, and then with my dad's side of the family at my cousin's house. No matter where we were, there was swimming, food and lots of fun had by all!
My parents have revived several of our childhood toys, including a baby pool and swim toys. Dawson and Zoey had a blast.
"Hold still...just a couple more seconds and you'll look just like Don King."
The starving artist:
G-Pa the Great helped D and Z figure out some of the pool toys...
...and then we headed to Billie Ann and Joe's for a cookout, swimming and playing. Joe let D and Z play on the pretend castle...this is Zoey, the damsel in distress.
D rescued her, and then "helped" her swing...
Our cousin Donna and Gran helping Princess Zo escape once again.
We attempted to have a family photo taken. Clearly, we are that part of the family that are "special."
At the end of the day, after you've eaten your weight in barbeque, swam, played, and realized you're completely surrounded and also related to people of questionable intelligence, what else is there to do?
